Obituary of Phyllis Joan (Bolen) Hofer

Phyllis Joan was born February 13, 1931 In Athens, Ohio and passed away peacefully at home in Auburn, WA on September 6,2019. She joins her husband Gene LeRoy Hofer in Heaven. She is survived by her Children; Katheryn, Ann, John, Steve and Erich. Her Grandchildren; Andrea, Alex, Gabriel, Giovanna and Leona (Jason). Her Great Grandchildren; Hannah, Cass, Kree, Lilliana, Domanick, Ariya and Trevor and extended family members and friends. Phyllis Joan was very involved in the community. In Campbell, CA she served as a City Commissioner (volunteer position) for the Civic improvement Commission. She directed and produced Theater in the Campbell and San Jose areas of CA. She also taught Theater in Sumner and Bonney Lake, WA. She was writter, published poet and an artist. She majored in photography in college at Ohio University. Her ashes will be spread on the water on an intimate family boat ride.
