Obituary of Barbara June Gibson

Barbara June Gibson (Sundberg), 87, of Graham, WA, passed away on April 22, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 6th, 1935 in Tacoma, WA to the late Elmer and Mary Sundberg. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years John Gibson, her daughter Mary Gibson, and her great-grandchildren Jojo and Soso Harris.

 She is survived by her children Karen (John) Underwood, Paul Gibson, Marc Gibson, and Scott Gibson, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. 

 She was a homemaker and ran a longtime in-home daycare for 12 years. She sang in Sweet Adelines for over 30 years. She was a Camp Fire girl leader and CCD Principal at church. She worked at the Washington State Fair in the information booth for over 30 years.

 She had many talents, she was an avid reader, word search puzzle solver, loved to make waffles for her grandkids, she enjoyed knitting and attending Dixieland Jazz Festivals.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on May 26th, 2022 at Holy Disciples at 10am.
