My heart hurts for you today. I can’t begin to imagine what you are feeling. I am grateful Pat doesn’t have to suffer any more and what a reunion she had with all her loved ones on the other side of the veil. You both have made such a huge impact on our lives and the lives of our boys. We are better for knowing you both…

: Oh how deeply sad. You have been through so much. You know how much you have done for me and I’ve been so grateful for these years….when you were so kind to see if I was making it through the pandemic in NY. It’s been so special…..

………We are thinking of you. You and Pat have been such a big part of our family through the years and I know we all have fond memories of Pat and her generosity! She was one of a kind and I’m glad to know she was always on my side and I could count on her. She taught me so much……..

Sandy Wilhoit: I shall miss Pat…I was fortunate to be her friend, her sister for 56 years as we met at BYU our freshman year in 1966.I loved her humor, her academic thinking and her spiritual strength. Oh Barney what can I say. I am so glad Pat and I had such great long talks recently. Please stay in touch. I will miss my dorm roommate. We had fun times through this life! I know she waws in a lot of pain so take solace in knowing she’s free of that. I consider you and Pat like family and appreciate all you two have done for me over the last40+ years. We love you and let us know if there is anything we can do, even if its from 3000 miles away.

I loved Pat and Barney Worton. I met them years ago when we were both called to serve in the YSA ward in Puyallup and, previously, on the High Council. They were wonderful people who would always help out whenever needed. I know Barney will miss Pat dearly but I know that he knows where she is and in no time at all he will be joining her.
God bless you, Barney.

I have had the pleasure of calling Pat a neighbor for literally most of my life. My favorite memories are always the quick catch ups at the mailbox that turned into long chats and the proverbial walks down memory lane.

It has been an honor to be one of Pat’s (and Barney’s) prayer warriors. I know she has prayed for me for years. It was time for me to reciprocate and gather all of my faith in prayer on her behalf this past year. I learned so much from her! We bonded over books, quotes, books, cancer, books, personal concerns and challenges, books and oh yes, the bookstore.. One day I hope to be able to resume our long, very long conversations. I’ll never be able to move again because Pat won’t be here to pack my dishes. I’m sure she received a joyful reunion on the other side. And I know she’s checking up on Bob.

Wow what a shock. Sister Worton was a great sister with a love of the Gospel. I got to know the Wortons since Barney was in the Bishopric with my dad in P5. Pat made sure Barney ate a good healthy lunch when he worked for my dad. It was fun discussing me serving in the California Sacramento Mission and when Puyallup played Sumner. Thank you for ur sweat spirit and ur love for the Gospel. Love ya, Kenny Martin.

When I was thinking of Pat this is what came to mind. She always made me feel loved and cared for.
